[...] For all of you modern fans in the Southeast, DOCOMOMO has organized " LIVING MODERN: Atlanta’s Modern Housing Tour and Panel Discussion. The panel discussion is free and will be held October 6, 2006, 6:30-8:00 PM at The Design Within Reach Studio in Buckhead. the tour costs $15 for members and $25 for non-members. The Tour of Homes will take place on October 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour "showcases the range of Modern domestic structures throughout the city of Atlanta spanning the years from 1947 through the mid 1970’s. DOCOMOMO Georgia seeks to educate the public about the Modern Movement in Georgia, demonstrating the continued viability of these historic homes." For more information, click here.
